Meet Madeline
I’ve been enamored with dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my mom was always bringing home every stray she could catch, and our house was rarely short of three or four dogs at a time. While she had the biggest heart, it was my dad who handled the training — and somehow made sleepless nights, potty accidents, and chaos look easy. He always reminded us that the hard work was worth it in the end, and that lesson stuck with me.
When I was old enough, every school project that involved giving back led me straight to the nearest animal shelter. Later, when I got my own place, I followed closely in my mom’s footsteps — fostering everything from bottle-fed puppies to senior, toothless dogs in need of comfort. Welcoming so many different dogs into my home taught me quickly just how important structure, patience, and training truly are.
Being around dogs isn’t just something I enjoy — it’s my passion.
Today, I specialize in working with puppies under one year old. I focus on basic obedience, early socialization, and helping families build good habits from the very beginning. My goal is to make training positive, practical, and manageable for real life, so both puppies and their people feel confident, supported, and connected.
Below are just a few of the aspects I help you and your puppy learn in order to create a well rounded temperament and lifestyle…
Crate Training
Crate Training is imperative in training a young, curious, and unpredictable puppy. We want to create a safe space for them to be in.
Potty Training
Potty Training is one of if not the first thing necessary to work on with your new puppy. It can be overwhelming and confusing if you don’t know where to start.
Leash Etiquette
Whether your puppy is teacup or giant, learning proper “leash etiquette” is the key to stress free outings with your dog and much more.
Puppy Handling
Ever plan on grooming your pup, clipping their nails, or just having a positive veterinary experience? Starting what I call “Puppy Handling” early is so helpful in getting your puppy prepared for being “Handled” where they aren’t used to.
Basic Obedience
Basic Obedience covers many different skills. From learning not to jump on guests when they enter to teaching “Leave it” for anything you don’t want your puppy to acknowledge. Basic Obedience needs depend on you and your puppy’s lifestyle!
Socialization/ Building Confidence
Early socialization and building confidence helps your puppy become adaptable and create a well rounded temperament.
